一千美元 單車環球

（中央社記者曹宇帆布魯塞爾2日專電）來自台灣的單車情侶騎士林孝鍇和顏怡慧1年多前，僅帶著相當於普通月薪的1000美元，展開2年半的單車環球之旅，只為一圓「20年前我們曾經一起所做的大夢」。
「林懷民老師給我們的推薦函，寫著他是60年代的背包客，鼓勵我們要放大格局，人一輩子要有一次壯遊」，雲門舞集技術組的林孝鍇和顏怡慧，是同事也是知心伴侶。
林懷民的鼓勵，還有首位完成單騎周遊世界的胡榮華，給予亦師亦友般的加油打氣，促成去年4月兩人結伴展開單車環球之旅的征途。
林孝鍇指出，出發前他們在桃園機場告訴中央社記者，「我們全身上下的盤纏只有1000美元」，家人也是在他們離台後，輾轉看了報導才知道「玩這麼大」，「沒辦法，如果家人事先知道了，肯定走不了」。
他們騎著打上「MIT」（Made In Taiwan,台灣製造）字樣的單車，載著數十至百公斤不等重的行囊，經過南半球，又沿著東南亞從泰國深入中國大陸雲南，再前進大西北穿越中亞抵達歐陸。
之後，他們還要挺進英倫三島，駕著帆船橫越汪洋登陸南歐，再由此遠赴大西洋彼岸的新大陸紐約，一路騎到西岸洛杉磯，再回到日本東京鐵塔劃下句點，「東京鐵塔也是胡（榮華）大哥當年壯遊的最後一站，象徵薪火傳承」。
這一路披星戴月的旅程，林孝鍇與顏怡慧曾因大雨帳篷泡水而在露營區的公廁將就一宿，「殘障用的廁間大小和帳篷空間差不多，而且還有暖氣，結帳時露營區的負責人還因覺得委屈我們，給了半價優惠」。
最傳奇的經歷是由泰國走水路進雲南，溯著湄公河、沿著瀾滄江，過程中接頭的人都是以代號和他們聯繫，「船長說這趟做完他就退休了，整個情節好像諜報電影一樣」。之後，他們走過的路線還發生喋血事件，死了12名船員。
林孝鍇的最高紀錄曾個人挑戰連續19小時由新疆哈密狂騎300公里，有如古代快馬般的急馳，隻身在大西北的大漠中，有烈日當空的黃沙遍野，還有星月當空的蒼茫，「當地人十分好奇，我這台灣來的是怎麼辦到的
環球之旅是圓夢之旅，不忘國民外交，兩人的單車上都掛著1幅國旗，所到之處迎風搖曳十分耀眼。顏怡慧說，今年是建國百年，也是向國際友人show Taiwan 的最好方法，而歐洲聯盟給台灣免簽證待遇，這趟旅程受惠良多。
特別的是，他們在紐西蘭拜訪昔日的高中老師，並出動兩位攻讀音樂領域博士的女兒，到當地人潮擁擠的市集，以琵琶伴奏演唱台灣民謠，幫兩人籌措旅費，並擺放台灣簡介小冊供民眾取閱，獲得熱烈的迴響。
1000美元盤纏撐了1年，企業贊助的「KEEP WALK- ING夢想資助計畫」，在今年4月給與他們及時的支援，得以繼續完成剩下的11個月旅程，林孝鎧和顏怡慧覺得責任更重了。
整理各自150公斤和100公斤的行囊，即將離開比利時前往下一站法國。談到未來，文靜的顏怡慧淺淺一笑，滿懷雄心壯志的林孝鍇想挑戰極地之旅，但更想效法總統夫人周美青，到偏遠部落同孩子們分享兩人如何完成圓夢之旅。（本文附有影音）1001102

Travelling thousands of kilometres by bicycle across Australia, French couple Julian and Carole, and Taiwanese couple Yen and Kai, say it's been the trip of a lifetime.
Have you ever thought about cycling from Cairns to Sydney, or Sydney to Darwin? Or maybe you've dreamed of a world trip where you see the sights from your trusty push bike.
Two couples decided to do just that.We met Kai and Yen from Taiwan, and Carole and Julian from France on the side of a busy Bruce Highway not far from Marlborough in Central Queensland.
Kai and Yen are on an adventure around the world and they're cycling every kilometre of it.
Yen says they plan to travel across 26 countries but it was because of Kai that she decided to cycle.
"My boyfriend want to ride more and more because he already rode around Taiwan seven times and he always hoped one day he could go to more places," says Yen.
"So I support him, and go with him."
She says safety on the roads in Australia has been pretty good compared to some of the other places they've travelled to.
"In some rural parts we have no roadside, that's where it's most dangerous," says Yen.
"Most trucks and cars will give way to us so it's good, it's a friendly highway."
She says they have to make sure they're concentrating all the time, but the added bonus of wearing fluoro orange also keeps them safe on the roads.
While travelling along the Bruce Highway Kai and Yen ran into a French couple, Julian and Carole, who are also seeing Australia from a different perspective.
Julian and Carole have been cycling in Australia for nine months.
Julian says cycling long distances isn't too difficult as long as you have the wind on your side.
"You can ride more and more each day but it's not very difficult, it depends on the way of the wind," says Julian.
They say they had no training for the trip but decided at the last moment they wanted to travel by bicycle.
Julian says he's been blown away by the vastness of the Australian landscape.
"Very big, very, very big," says Julian.
"Yes it's very nice, we're very happy here...and the distance is very big.
"Always big, animals, trucks, distance, everything."
Both Julian and Carole's bicycles are well prepared with very thick tyres.
So have they had any problems along the way?
"Nothing, it's the same [tyre] from 8,000 kilometres," says Julian.
"We've had no troubles with the bicycles, just troubles with spokes here because it's very heavy behind."
They say Australian wildlife is a little different to the French, but they had been pre-warned.
"Yes we know sometimes in Australia it's special because we know you have some spiders and snakes, we don't know where, yeah but some people say be careful."
Julian says there's benefits to travelling by bicycle.
"It's better to see the country and to meet people, to meet people is very easy," says Julian.
Julian and Carole say they've already started thinking about their next cycling trip.
